Best value for price
This was an incredible deal. Thin laptop for an unbelievable price. Good quality overall. Works great with both Ubuntu 12.10 and Windows 8 64-bits. I had to do a BIOS update to fix some issues. The fan is a bit noisy (not normal, strange noise depending on how I hold it). It's the only flaw I found in this refurbished computer. Such a good price I don't mind keeping it.

Pretty sleek...
good deal for the price. -- I am a Computer Engineer, and I have been using this thing for VS2012, 3dsMax 2013, Illstrator+Photoshop and it handles everything just fine. No worries performance wise. -- it takes a small hit is in the build quality, which is expected at the price point. -- Overall it looks great, the frame is sturdy and the screen folds out nicely and firmly (but not too firm). The issue is that some of the keys have to be pressed slightly harder (you get used to it) and it's really not a big deal. --Moving to Windows 8 works great (keep on hating) and the mouse drivers are a pain to get working but once they are it's a beauty. I have 2,3, and 4 finger gestures activated for page swipes, show start menu and show desktop, as well as the Windows 8 gestures (charms, app switching, context menu) -- If you upgrade, you will also have to configure the SSD for rapid start technology (look up guides) -- it has bluetooth too

Recommended by my Computer Expert!
Being grandparent age but without any in town .. we have to hire our advise! So we called our computer guy who takes over our computers (works for corporate clients also) .. and asked his advise. He said for us we should stay away from Windows 8 for now .. stick with Window 7 since we know it so well. He recommended this computer said refurbished was fine. Turned out just great .. happy with shipping .. product .. quality .. everything .. would definitely purchase from them again!

Exactly what I expected and needed
I have no complaints. I needed it for internet, word processing and portability. That is exactly what I got. This is the second time I have bought refurbished. My first purchase lasted 5 hears. Hope this one does too.

I got more than I paid for!
This ultralight is just that - very light. For work I need to be on-line frequently and this Acer fits the bill. It is portable yet has the speed and features that I need. A tablet just wouldn't cut it. So far no complaints. A good value for the money.
