Great replacement Motherboard

Great board, very clear and easy to read manual, and all the little extras you'd expect from a quality ASUS product. I went from an i7 920 at 2.66Ghz to this board running an i7 2700 at 3.5Ghz, and I didn't expect much difference, but man was I surprised. The board and CPU crank through video compression noticeably faster than the older processor. Plus the UEFI BIOS makes this board get through POST in under 4 seconds, unlike the older Intel DX58SO board I was running before. I highly recommend this board.

Works flawlessly

I built a computer for my wife with this mb and it works flawlessly. Highly recommended with Intel i5 3470 and a SSD. Nothing comes close to its speed. I have used ASUS motherboards for years and keep coming back to them due to the low rate of defects compared to any other mb manufacturer. Yes, occasionally you can have a problem, but they have been very rare.

It Just Works!

I've had this mobo in my main rig for over 5 months now, updated the BIOS 4 times (USB BIOS Flashback worked flawlessly), upgraded RAM and CPU cooler, installed 4 different OS's and 2 different SSDs, and a few drive changes, overclocked the CPU and RAM, played high powered games, and benchmarked severely. Through it all, including high overclocks that failed and CMOS clearing, this board has performed flawlessly. There was never a time when I was worried, the board recovered every time I blue-screened it. The only thing I haven't tried is the Asmedia SATA ports as I have no need (yet). Get this board, you won't regret it.

Problems with USB

Bought this for my wife's computer set up as I have an ASUS MB of my own. After a few weeks, noticed the networking speed was very slow compared to my laptop sitting right beside it. Came to find out that all the USB ports were VERY slow. Opened a ticket, applied maintenance, etc, but the problem remains. Going to junk it and buy something else to replace it.
