Wrong Case for Aera 500
The Garmin Deluxe Carry Case is THE recommended bag for the Garmin Aera 500 series aviation GPS. WRONG ANSWER!! The Aera 500 includes a bracket to mount the GPS onto the yoke of the airplane so I needed a bag to contain the GPS, the bracket and the cables all in one place. The bracket will not fit into this case. If you own your plane and can leave the bracket in place and only need a case to carry the GPS unit (or any other 4.3 inch GPS), this carry case will work fine. But if, like me, you want to transport the bracket as well, then this carry case is not for you. Look for a camera bag or lunch kit. I am gifting my son with his own automotive GPS and so will present it to him in this case. It will hold the small suction cup mount, GPS unit and cables with room to spare.

Great Bag but too small!
This is a great little bag but a little too small. It appears to be very sturdy and rugged but you have to plan on how to put your GPS gear in the bag. I think it is a little pricy for what you get but alot is because of the name. I do not regret buying this product and do reccommed purchasing it. Just wish it was a bit larger!!

Bag is right size and you can put a lot in it
I wanted a bag to put my new Garmin in and I look at another one, but saw this one and am glad I decided to get this one. It is large enough for everything you need to put into it plus more. A very well made bag that should last a lifetime.
