Too loose
I got this as a replacement for my HP laptop. I was dismayed at how loose the adapter fit in the laptop jack. It would wink in and out of connection. Also, a couple times the laptop would just power off. It had never done that before. The original power supply has intermittant connectivity and I've resorted to using the original. Overall rather disappointed in this particular HP product considering the price.

works great but doesn't charge my battery
I got this HP adapter for my Dell laptop because I could use Bill Me later. However, it does work fine but it doesn't recharge the battery! There may be a way to tweak it to accept this adapter but I don't know what it is. I did write to their Support and never got an answer. So I may have to buy a Dell adapter anyway.

Does the job
I bought this as a replacement for the power supply which originally came with my HP 9500TD. The original succumbed to the appetite of some sort of critter (12V side was eaten through) - not its fault. At any rate, this is as plug-n-play as it gets. Like most HP equipment, it is buit to last. The old one went five years without a glitch and I expect this one will, also.

Wonderful!
I was looking for a second power supply for my new notebook. This was right in my price range. The light weight is a great benefit. Keep offering the great products.

Seems to be fine
This AC power supply came with an adapter to fit my daughter's comupter. It seems to be working fine thogh the adapter does fit a little loose in her lap top. Overall for the price it is fine.
