This switch is crap
Dead on Arrival. The remote switch is apparently defectively designed or incompetently manufactured.

Great wireless solution!
The FLIP switch out of the box would not work at all. Seemed like a contact issue with the battery. Fortunately, downloading the software for Windows was the solution. I use both a W7 Home Premium and an XP and they installed fine. Also used a MS Wireless Mobile Mouse 4000 and after a couple of passes to install the drivers, they worked fine as well.

Got one. The manual flip switch started to work intermittently on the first day. Within two weeks, the rest of the device stopped working. Had to return it.

I bought this because Belkin stuff is usually fairly reliable, but unfortunately this is the most flakey and unreliable KVM switch I've ever used.. I really do like the outboard remote control button that you can mount conveniently beside/on your keyboard and switch without reaching for the box on your desk like on a conventional KVM switch, but other than that, the KVM itself is horrible: It will work normally for a couple of days in a row, but then occasionally, with no warning, it will randomly locks up (can't switch anymore, both hotkeys and remote control button are dead), or worse, right after a switch it will go into an unstable mode where the keyboard and mouse keep disconnecting and reconnecting every few seconds (and yes, everything is properly plugged in, the power-saving features have been disabled on the USB ports, etc).. This necessitates diving under the desk to disconnect and then reconnect the *!@% device..
