good value
Very pleased with the sound quality....sounds better than the (more expensive) Denon it replaced. Missing a few features and has a lot of stupid sound effects that are not needed, but overall a good value.

Bells-Whistles in place of Performance
Remote is overly complicated. Recever is very light. Yamaha obviuosly is focusing on useless gadgets, while trying to appeal to the consumer, rather than performance. I do not agree with this philosophy. I purchased this unit thinking of the Yamaha name (days gone by). Very disappointed with the amps output. Running Klipsch and Infinity (zone B) with Klipsch Sub. Lacking ''punch''. Might as well bought a Pioneer or Sherwood (or Pyle). Very disappointed
