Does what I need it for
Basically does exactly what I need of it: a baby video monitor, at a fraction of the price they ask for the official ones. Plus the convenience of viewing it from any computer or phone in our house. On sale at $49 I could not resist.

Great DIY Security Camera
This will be my 6th camera of the same model. I simply cannot afford professional home security services with monthly fees. These Trendnet cameras are great alternative for the DIYer. However, they are not the easiest cameras to set-up at first and therefore require some patience and research to customize to your exact security needs, but seeing that it is protecting your home, it is worth the effort. The camera produces a great clear picture that I can view on my Android phone or tablet when I am on vacation or away from home. The software, albeit a little difficult to set up as well, can be customized to alert you by email or phone, take quick pictures or videos and can allow some control remotely. If you can buy it on sale, you will get your money's worth.

Solid for the Price
I have four of these running, watch them on my iphone when I want to check in. They're not simple to configure if you wish to use port forwarding to check from outside the house, but after they are up and running, they're very stable. I rarely have to reset mine and they very rarely ''disconnect'' from wireless. For the price, I've been extremely pleased. Only complaint would be the lack of e-mail support (can't use it with g-mail and many other common providers for alerts), but that's absolutely it. No true zoom, no audio, no panning, but it works very reliably for a $60 camera.

Works well, could use better instructions for app
The camera works well. If I was doing it over again, I would probably get one that you can control left, right, up, down. I was able to get the IPAD app to work, which is pretty slick, but I couldn't find instructions anywhere about how to enter in the necessary data - so it took much longer to set up than expected.

Works as advertised
Setup was easy, don't expect HD from camera not designed for it. Works as advertised. Only thing I haven't tried yet is accessing it from or setting it up to be accessed from the Internet at a location other than my wi fi access point.
