ONE UNIT DOES IT ALL, NO SOFTWARE NEEDED
As usual, great deal on a great product. I am an avid photographer. With that I own several different cameras each with its own style memory storage. Got this, plug and play works seamlessly with windows7 and Vista with no software. Get it-you wont be sorry.

Works Flawlessly
I received this media reader about a month ago and just plugged it into my HP Laptop running Windows 7 Home edition and it has been working flawlessly with my obsolete Smart Media Cards and almost obsolete XD Picture Cards.

Won't Read Certain Cards
I bought this along with a Kingston 32gb CF card. It will not read it. My machine recognizes the device but when you click the new drive... nothing. A 2gb card works, and the 32 works fine begin read through the camera. I would not recommend this product since you cannot reliably use it. You have no idea whether or not it will work with your card.
