Awesome product!!! I've used this thing on tons of drives, it's great being able to stick it inside someone's computer and backup their stuff without removing the drive. One of the best tools I own.
I plugged this adapted into my hard-drive and it immediately started the circuit-board on my drive on fire, which melted part of the board and trashed my drive... be careful, test with a junk drive first.
This has made use of some other HD's gathering dust. I stick them in, back up my data and set them aside. With the cost per MB of new HDs rock bottom, who needs anything else.
IDE & SATA - its worth it!
This is an awsome product!! I have a bunch of older hard drives laying around and i needed to get stuff off of them from time to time, and this was a simple plug and play unit. There are a couple of cables with this unit but they only plug into one spot so its easy to figure out, and you had to turn it on before you plug it into the computer to make it work, it didnt have instructions to tell you this. Other than that, it works great. Good product!!
