A Nice Device
So far I've really liked this tablet, esp the usb and hdmi ports. It's a little thick because of those but I can live with that. It won't support a printer off the usb, though and that bummed me out. Hopefully an app will one day address that

Good Refurbished Tablet - System Updates an Issue
Bought a refurb 32Gb Thrive a few months ago (not from here), and while the tablet was fine in every way, it came with a system version that was much lower than the current Toshiba update. That created an immediate problem, as I was not able to install the most recent system upgrade. With the help of several Thrive forums, I was able to root the tablet and install the stock ROM that was the most recently updated. After that, I was able to do normal system updates with no issues. While the tablet was great for the price, and I am enjoying it, the hoops I had to jump through just to get the tablet updated were not fun, nor for the faint of heart. Hopefully, Toshiba has taken this issue into consideration with it's latest group of refurb tablets.
