Problems with Fedora Xorg drivers
The device doesn't seem to consistently and reliably relay accurate EDID information from the monitor to the Xorg driver, regardless if it is nvidia or intel. Have to resort to explicit modeline configuration.

Just What I Needed
My home desk runs up to 4 computers, a home server, a desktop with tv video, a personal laptop, and often a company laptop. I had a two port KVM, but it needed replacing. It wasn't USB and didn't have any audio cables. This 4-port box was delivered 2 day early. Kudos to Tiger Direct! It is pretty and well built, but lives under my desk. More important, it has long sturdy cables that reach all my computers easily, as they are space all over the floor and desk. Switching is simple, fast, and works as advertised EXCEPT I can't change from one computer to another while keeping audio (for my tv card and separate monitor) on the first computer. It says you can do this, and tells me how, but it just doesn't do it. Otherwise, 5 stars all the way.

Works well
Out of the box I had problems, nothing worked and it hung up again and again. Had to keep rebooting and hooking up an extra monitor just to see what was going on. Seems the NEW keyboard I decided to use with the new switch was defective. Got an old one and everything works fine. Only problem is in getting used to the keystrokes. I had a different switch that used PS2 and a different key combination. The KVM has been working fine since replacing the keyboard. I use it many times a day so it's getting a workout. Just wish it had a button to switch also.

Not in love
It works. But not very well - you need weird keystrokes to go from attached computers - scroll lock scroll lock enter. I only have 2 computers attached, but when I want to go from one to the other, it has to jump thru all ports instead of only to the 2 active ports. It has managed to negatively impact the monitor - as much as I have messed with the settings, the left edge of my screen is off the monitor.
