Lite-On DH-401S-08 Blu-Ray Internal Playback Drive 
As we make our way into the future, take a moment to grab the product that will play all of your Blu-Ray movies. Lite-On Digital Solutions (PLDS) announces the introduction of the world’s first BD-ROM drive in the market. The Lite-On DH-4O1S is a read-only device for all popular media formats, including Blu-ray discs. Besides Blu-ray discs, the drive can read DVD+/-R(W) and CD-R(W) media. This pack includes an extra silver bezel and a SATA cable to connect the drive to the motherboard of the PC. It also includes a Cyberlink Blu-ray software package for playback Blu-ray media in high definition.
The DH-4O1S has a Serial ATA interface and reads BD-R/RE/ROM/SL/DL media at a maximum of 4X. Single Layer DVD ±R can be read at 12X, while Double Layer DVD±R and Single Layer DVD-±RW can be read at 8X. CD-R(W) can be read at a maximum speed of 32X. It also supports 12x DVD±R SL Read, 8x DVD±R DL read and 8x DVD±RW SL read. Now you can enjoy watching movies in Blu-Ray, the next generation media format that delivers an unprecedented high-definition viewing experience. Fitted with Serial Advanced Technology Attachment (SATA), it can data transfer data as high as 3.0 Gbit/s per device, between motherboard and other media storage devices including hard disk drives and optical drives.
The sleek, black optical drive reads BD-R/RE/ROM/SL/DL media at 4x speed, as well as DVD ±R /±R DL/±RW/ROM media. It also accommodates DVD single/dual layer, DVD-R (3.9GB/4.7GB), DVD-R multi-borders, DVD-RAM, DVD+R, DVD+R multi-sessions, DVD-RW and DVD+RW. The 2.6lb optical drive has 8MB cache and 160ms DVD access time.
The tray-load type Lite-On DH-4O1S is packaged with an extra silver bezel, a SATA cable and a Cyberlink Blu-ray software package for playback Blu-ray media in high definition.
