Installed on a Pentium D 925 Processor - 3.0GHz that had a stock fan on it that would ramp up in speed constantly when using the computer for the simplest things. Installation easy except fins (at the cutout) directly touching ATX power supply. Temperature dropped about 5-8C from 63 to about 55C. Best feature is how much quieter it is at 2000 RPM vs. the OEM fan. Recommended! |

great cpu cooler!! be careful to check clearance as this fan is large. on my asus pn5-e sli mobo it pulls air in around the ram and northbridge. i don't find it noisy, but i'm also not very worried about noise. |

I put this cooler on a 1.8 GHZ dual core Pentium4 processor (doesn't run as hot as a lot of things, but a cool computer is a happy one) Idle temp: 90, 100% load after 5 minutes is 115-117. This cooler keeps the processor in a great temp range, also helps cool other components of the computer. VERY BIG, be sure you have pleanty of room between the processor and anything else in the case, the heat sink sat just above the RAM and is against the PSU. |
