good drive but clunky software
Great drive but bluray software does not work unless you purchase the upgrade (although it IS a worthwhile upgrade). Definitely worth the price.

Does not work with Windows 8! Do not buy!
The bundled software that comes with this product is PowerDVD10, which does not support the blu ray format on Windows 8. It might be ok if you are still using 7, but it's old software anyway. PowerDVD is up to version 13 now. If you buy this reader and try to play a blu ray disk on Windows 8, you will have to either pay $89 for PowerDVD12 or find a cracked version, which isn't as easy as you might think. Again, do not buy this product!

99.99$ home theatre. deal breaker
for a single hundred u get a home theater. cant break this good deal :) get it while it lasts! got my popcorn, time for a movie.
