Reliable and FAST
I have (2) 240GB units that have been in RAID 0 Stripe on my laptop the last 6 months. No issues. Install was painless.
Data rates advertised are correct.
Works wonders with VM's, just wish price was less.
There are other drives that are faster, but I don't know about their reliability. I chose Intel because of reliability.
Simply Amazing
This was my first computer build and I wanted to use an SSD because I had heard how fast they are compared to the normal HDD. After using this SSD for my operating system and all my games, there is no other word for this SSD other than amazing. My boot time is ridiculously fast and games like Skyrim and SWTOR don't even have loading screens. I never thought a drive could make my experience any different with a computer, but this item will enhance your experience tenfold. If you're looking to store alot of photos and videos I would recommend using a HDD with it just to be safe, but other than that it has plenty of space for gaming.
Blazingly fast, data transfer tool ineffective...
I upgraded from a 7200rpm 500Gb to this HDD in my Dell Studio xps 1645 laptop. It is like night and day difference in terms of access time and boot up. The supplied Acronis data transfer software did not work in my application, as I was reducing the overall size of the HDD. I even set my existing partition size of my 500Gb to 200Gb and it still wouldn't work. I used a different data transfer tool (Paragon) and it worked the first time. It was a little pricey, but happy with the end result.
Great and easy drive to set up
I got this drive on sale for $180. It came with mirroring software which made it easy to copy old drive with out having to reload windows on the new drive. It took about 30 minutes to mirror the old drive to the new. After that I disconnected the old drive and I was done. Note old drive can not have more space used then the new drives full capacity. I flipped them one for one a 240gb for a 240gb. Overall super fast drive, easy setup, good price

This is my second SSD, the first being an OCZ Vertex 3. I can say that the intel 520 installed easier and seems to perform faster, this is a qualitative assessment as I have not actually benchmarked both back to back.
The supplied acronis software made for a very easy OS migration and had me up and running in just a few hours.
I am using this in my laptop where I was previously using truecrypt FDE. Now I have set an ATA password and rely on the SSD's own internal encryption.
