IBM Netvista Refurbished Intel Desktop Computer - Intel Pentium 4 1.8GHz, 256MB DDR, 40GB HDD, DVD-ROM, 10/100 LAN, Windows Xp Pro

I bought this computer for my mother. It works great. Perfect for those home users who don't need a supercomputing ultimate gaming beast, though I'm sure it could play older 3d games if you wanted. My mother mostly uses it for playing solitare games. I can't say how well it will work under heavy load, but it seems like a very solid system. I trust IBM.

As the other reviewer said, I also noticed there were no recovery CDs, but it does have a system resore program. You'd be sol if the hard drive died, but the program looks like it should take care of anything else.

One of the other reviewers mentioned you could get the CD from IBM ...I'm not sure who you'd call... I think it would be better if they just included it. Eventually you will probably need it one way or another.

Overall, if you are a home user who doesn't have any special requirements, I think this computer will be exactly what you need.
