The TP-Link Wireless N Router can meet your wireless surfing needs of homes and small businesses. You can stream HD videos, make VoIP or play online games with the 2T2R MIMO Technology. The QoS will assure that the quality of multimedia streaming and VoIP is high. You have two detachable antennas that are Omni directional and have 5dBi antenna gain. The VPN pass through protocols available on this router are L2TP, PPTP, and IPSec. It supports 64-bit, 128-bit, and 152-bit WEP security protocols. Additional security protocols supported are WPA, WPA-PSK, WPA2, and WPA2-PSK. The router has 4 10/100 Mbps ports and one WAN Port. It has a wireless frequency range of 2.4-2.4835GHz. The wireless network standards supported by the router are IEEE 802.11g, b, and n. You get 300 Mbps wireless data transfer rate and wireless transmit power of 20dBm. The router has remote management, local management, and access control facility available. It has IP QoS that allots bandwidth equally to all users. Good value, easy setup
This router will not blow you away. That being said, the price is right and it does what it is supposed to do. I had an old netgear wireless G router that began making a horrific high pitched noise so it had to go. This performs just as well or a little better. I feel like the antennas (placebo maybe since the netgear had none) increase the effective range. Covers every inch of 1900 Sq. ft and the deck and patio in the back.I am not a novice, but if I was this would be easy to setup with the included cd, which I used to make sure this product performed out of the box as it was advertised. Overall a good buy for 40 bucks. And this company as always has SUPER fast shipping!

No real problems
Everything seems perfect except sometimes netflix on my tv pauses for 'loading' But, can't really say that's the router as occasionally there were small interruptions when hardwired. May be netflix server overload during prime time or something. Router is wonderfully easy to set up. Good signal strength to outbuildings. Recommended!!

Great buy and easy setup
This router is ready to go out of the box. Took five minutes to set up everything and most of that was just setting up my passwords for security. This router performs as well as many of the big names out there which makes it great for all ranges of users. Highly recommend this product.

the router
I am a total novice, but I got it set up with very little angst and effort. It works great. Old router used to drop the link a dozen or more times a day, and so far this one has stayed up the entire time. I am quite pleased with it. It is wonderful to be able to access the net without resetting it every time! Good value, good price, in my estimation.
