For $300 this was a great buy. It comes with Windows 98SE, but I ended up putting Windows XP on mine to make use of Remote Desktop. I had a PCMCIA wireless ''G'' card already that I now use. I travel alot and can now check email and surf the Internet while on the road...not to mention watching a movie on the side of the road...great deal!!! Windows XP runs fine with the configuration as it is sold...the only drawback is the hard drive size in my opinion. I bought mine on 4/30/06 and around 5/30/06 the CD/DVD drive went out. The warranty people (PlanITROI) was very helpful. I shipped the bad CD/DVD drive to them on 6/10/06 morning and had a replacement 6/15/06 when I got home. Works perfectly now!! Very pleased with this deal AND PlanITROI.

This one is a no-brainer. I just saw a 10-inch dvd player selling like hot cakes for more than $300. Maybe they should push this one as a 14-inch dvd player with PDA/MP3 and Windows capabilities. By the way, I bought 3 of these TECRA 8200.

I am very satisfied with my puchase of this product and the only thing that I regret is not purchasing the memory recommended by TigerDirect.
I intend to upgrade to a newer laptop here with them in the future, because they have earned my trust, I did not just give it to them they earned it.
The follow up and order was timely and the quality of the product is Good.
As far as I am concerned overall it is a Job well done!

We use older models for our field Technicians. We have been using 8000's for quite some time. When I saw these I knew we had to get at least a few. Good condition, with plenty of software. Well worth the money!

I compared prices with many other sites and the average price for similar machines with less features was $600.00. Very nice condition and includes many features not found on newer notebooks, i.e. USB floppy drive ($30 by itself),integrated infrared, 802.11b wireless with switch, TV out (RCA), and docking station port. This was a top business machine originally priced from $3400.00 when new. Very happy with the machine which was purchased for Assembly Language programming college class.
