Had this a few months now, still happy.
High heat output, high power demand, very large card. Many cards can handle most games comfortably if you don't NEED the latest and greatest. Pretty much no accessories. Bad being said, I about creamed my pants on starting this thing up. I play pretty much every game out there and this handles it all with EVERYTHING cranked out; no idea what OpenCL is and whatnot, but I run a 64-bit 7 platform if that means anything. Planned to CrossFire this thing, but that plan went out the window as quickly as I saw how much performance this thing puts out. Besides, saying I had to go get a $150 PSU to handle this card as well as all the other flashy things I have in my comp was just an added bonus as far as I'm concerned. Probably will be my only ATI card (this was an experimental deviation from Nvidia), but I certainly am not disappointed despite the bads about it.

THIS CARD IS AWESOME!
This BLOWS away my EVGA GTX 550 Ti, running in Crossfire-X and it does just as good as my HD 6970. Definetely recommend this card, I get a max of 73 C on max load playing BF3 or Crysis, dual fans are very quiet surprisingly. Runs Crysis at 45 FPS avg on max settings.

A little disappointed
I like XFX video products but a little disappointed with the lack of performance upgrade from the XFX HD-5750. Went from 128 bit to 256 bit interface and added stream processors but this 6790 does not bench as high as the 5750? I'll keep playing with the settings to see if somethings being missed. You can expect these higher end cards to run hotter, Internal PC temps are running 5-10C higher.
