Great board!
First time I've built my own PC in about 10 years and couldn't believe how much easier it's gotten. For the price, this board is amazing and allows for lots of expansion. The only downside is the layout of the SATA ports as someone else said. They connect from the side of the board instead of straight down into the board. Other than that everything is great!

Flawed layout of SATA
This board has a major design flaw regarding the physical layout for the SATA connectors 2-5. Most boards I have ever used you plug in down to the board. This board has only one SATA in the normal position with the other four requiring plugging in from the side rather than the top. This is a real pain because the case I ordered and paid 2nd day air for cannot be used. The power supply blocks access to the SATA connectors. All cases for MiniATX etc are based on standard layout for mounting screws, etc. and MSI knows this. However their decision to place connectors on the SIDE of the board rather than the top negates the ability of any case designer to account for this strange and objectionable design. How can I determine what case this board will fit if I can't assume some part of the case or power supply won't interfere with the MOBO design?
