Great Buy
I am extremely please with this purchase. I was a little wary of buying the DLP vs the more popular LCD but my fears proved to be unfounded. The delivery came on time and once I set it up I was impressed with the clarity of the picture. It rivals that of the LCDs with the same refresh rate and class. The sound is actually quite good (crisp and loud enough for me) despite some of the reviews. I have yet to use the 3D or the internet streaming features(had to buy the adapter seperately for $40 here), but for DVD's and HDTV, I could not be happier. Can't beat this deal for features and value for under $1000 delivered! Highly recommmend. I also could not tell it was refurbished from its condition either.

Best Price for Awesome TV
Getting this TV under $1,000 was definately a steal. The WD-73740 is a great TV .. the only thing that wsa dissapointing was the fact it didn't come with a remote control, and I went back and scoured the ad and didn't find anything saying it wouldn't come with one. That was a little dissapointing, but I guess getting the TV under $1,000 I can afford to buy a remote, just kinda bad that I can't use the TV 100% until it arrives in the mail.

A really great buy
Nothing more to add. Just read all the other reveiws for this and the 60 inch. These are true picture Diagonal Size not 60.5 or 74.54 etc.

I agree Awesome deal!!!
Easy to setup. Could not ask for a better picture. I also have the 65 inch model that I bought a few years back. I think that I paid more for the older model. It still works fine.

Brace for costly repairs
This is very large, I mean huge TV, with stunning picture quality. I wanted Home Cinema size TV, but was reluctant to pay a full price for high quality and very reliable flat TV from one of top makers. I was aware of risks, when buying a thousand dollar device with 3 month warranty only and refurbished not by factory experts, but still decided to try. Hundred pund 73'' Mitsubishi arrived by plane and truck free of charge. It was put to tests immediately. It allowed to be turned on and scan for available channels. Found more channels off air than my other two TV-s and all found channels were displayed without problems. The picture of HD channels was perfect. Watching this TV creates impression that quality of picture is limited by TV transmitter, and no matter how beautiful picture is, this TV would be able to show more. The positives end here. TV worked only 1hr. Was already repaired, the very costly light engine was replaced. 3 month warranty worked this time.
