What is Xtenda X300?
The Xtenda X300 is a new way to expand your existing computer by simply adding a PCI card and
connecting our multi-user terminal boxes. Each PCI card has three (3) RJ45 output ports and three (3)
terminal boxes so you can easily connect more users via CAT 5 cable. A limit of two (2) PCI cards may
be used with each computer thus, Xtending 1 PC to 7 users!
How does it work?
Today’s computers are so fast and powerful it’s like having a super computer that’s being under utilized.
The Xtenda X300 and our Terminal Server software take advantage of the excess computing power and
redistributing it to each computer terminal. Everyone connected receives the same speed and
performance of the Host PC, plus each user works independently and securely from each other.

Works well with my window 2000pro system. However, the keyboard or mouse freezes after a while or when the system is restarted. Manual unplug or re-plug of the peripherals usually resolves the issue. Need to ensure stability of the peripherals. Overall it worths the money.

It works but faulty. It does not support all monitors, im stuck with 800x600 res. Faulty mouse, it jumps around. Poor customer support.

Linux support is a pure marketing lie. There are some half hearted attempts, but I spoke to their customer service reps. They say they have no plans to support it, and no training. Their site forum for linux gets wiped out when they have too many bad comments to hide the mess.They have a ''program'' to support a couple of linux distros that are like 3 years old sometime next year, and what drivers there are are hidden on third party reseller sites. Don't waist your money on this if you are looking for a linux solution.

This was worth every penny I spent on it! I use it for viewing stations at events that I photograph with great results! I use it with EPS software and I only have to bring one PC to events now!

Windows XP SP2 runs great. Even runs on our manufacturing software from Epicor called Vantage 6.1. Quite impressive equipment. Remember though, these must be directly connected to the server. We are going to try the L230's to see if they will allow us to use them on our network. IT Coordinator
