This product is just okay. It's not *OMFG AWESOME SOUND QUALITY I LOVE IT* but it is great for it's price. 5 stars. |

THE CARD DEFINATLEY IS BETTER THEN THE ONBOARD SOUND. THE ONLY THING IS, I CANT GET MY MIC TO WORK WITH IT NO MATTER WHAT IVE TRIED. EVEN TALKED TO CREATIVE AND THAT DIDNT HELP. O WELL ITS A GOOD CARD.

This came with my neighbor's computer. When their mobo died, they gave it to us and i took this and slapped it into my HP D530. Much more impressive than any stock integrated audio can do and the EAX is very......well interesting for gaming and movies. It adds sort of an echo to make it sound more realistic.
You don't have to use all of the ports either. You can switch it to play stereo and if you have a logitech Z-5500 or a 5.1 set that just requires a stereo plug it still sounds amazing. I'll agree, the drivers can be a little quirky with vista, but a good computer geeek can figure them out. |

Easy to install and sounds really good compared to onboard sound BUT I had lots of problems while running games, they would just crash once in a while for no reason. I researched it and I'm not the only one with the crashing problems, appears the drivers are really bad.(running vista 64bit,amd x2 5000+, 4gb ram,m2n-sli deluxe) |

After approximately 8 years my SB Live 16 bit sound card started to have fluctuations/distortions in its output so I bought this card to go with my new Logitech Z-5500 speaker system. The bass shakes the whole house, much to the dismay of the landlord. :) Looking forward to another 8 years of crystal clear sound. |

Increased the sound coming out of my computer a lot! Very good price for what it is. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a good sound upgrade. |

Best bang for the buck. Sounds like everything is around you...just like it should be. Awesome gaming sound card especially if you wear headphones. Would buy again! |

I bought the Logitech X-540 speakers just before this card. The sound was kinda funky because I had no sound card, just the on-board type. If you are using your on-board sound, BUY THESE! You can't beat the price and it makes my 540's EXPLODE! The sound clarity is so clear it seems like the symbols are right next to me. Bass hits harder, highs hit higher, vocals are in-your-face, and it can perform classical just as nicely. This is the perfect sound card to start off with. |

So glad I didn't listen to some of the negative reviews saying to avoid buying this card...For the money, this card is amazing! It really brings sounds to life. I'm hearing things in Grand Theft Auto that I didn't hear before. BTW I'm not having any compatiblity issues between this sound card and my Nvidia. |
