Twisty leg locks make it inconsistently stable
This is a really good tripod, except for the leg locking feature which uses that telescoping, twisting mechanism to interlock with the leg itself. The problem is that the lock twist is so short that it doesn't always grab the leg tight enough and so it doesn't support any weight when you put it down and collapses instead. A bit frustrating. I'll use the traditional tripods from now on.
