I upgraded from a Linksys WRT54GS w/Speedbooster and what a difference. No more dropped packets or lost connections. Don't get Netgear's ProSafe line confused with their consumer line which usually has a white plastic housing. The ProSafe line has a sturdy metal housing and is navy blue in color aimed more towards business use. The features it has doesn't compare to any of their consumer products and for the price and features you get can't be beat. The web-based management UI is easy to navigate and set-up is basically plug and play. I've upgraded all my home network stuff to Netgear's ProSafe line and I'm absolutely impressed with the quality, features and price. If you're looking for dependable equipment that will outperform your expectations without the cost, look no further than Netgear's ProSafe line. |

I upgraded from a previous net gear wireless router and this one was no different Easy setup love the print sever I have a 3000sq ft house the router is down stairs at one end of the house and even when I'm working up stairs in my bedroom at the other in house I have no drops in signal still getting 53-54 signal strentgh You cant go wrong here. |

Awesome router. I use it to connect a hughes direcway satellite internet hookup to a wireless network in my house. Simple to set up, easy to use, and a USB print server to boot! I can roam around, surf the web, print, and work anywhere with this one device! Well worth the price! |

Great price for a router that is capable of such advanced features.
We're unning Microsoft Small Business Server with Exchange Server 2003 and have everything pumped through this router. At this price, it would be a steal even if it were a pain to set up - but it's not. It was about a 15 minute task to get everything set up properly and all of our ports opened.
Great product, even better price. |

Been through different wireless routers I still come back to Netgear and this prosafe has been the best investment yet to my system!!!!!!!!!!! |

Product arrived in excellent condition 4 days after ordering online. Connected a GP7-500 (old) Gateway desktop running 2000 (wired), an (new) HP Pavilion zv6170 laptop (wireless) running XP SP2, an HP DeskJet 6840 wireless printer (wired as print server) and Westel DSL router to the unit. Installation was QUICK (10 min) & EASY to initially setup, install and configure the basics to start using wireless services unsecured. Setting up the Print Server was easy and worked even though the wireless printer wasn't automatically identified. The port config didn't ever recognize the printer name even after running the printer CD (driver) but it works wired. The install CD and paper install guide were easy to follow and use. Out of the box config doesn't interfere with 2.4GHz telephone, cell or other electronic signals in the apartment complex area. Range is excellent with no interference. Speeds run from 45 to 54 Mbps and signal strength stays at Excellent in most places within 2/2 apt. |
