not happy
this product broke my computer so I had to get it repaired. it installed to 35% then froze up. Now I'm scared to use this product. Good thing it was free.

Cheap at twice the price
My cost after rebates and shipping was about $6. I have not received the rebate yet. Truthfully, I have not spent a whole lot of time with it on my Assus laptop so I cannot comment on the system hog complaints by some. My guess is they may not have optimized their system or delete the previous antivirus.

Poor Performance
One of the websites that I have used for years for my medications is NOT ALLOWED to be viewed on my computer by this ANTIVIRUS? program. I think it is a polictical choice by the programmers. It is a memory HOG! It will SLOW DOWN your SYSTEM.

basic antivirus
Got this for free with mail in rebate for 12 months service. Bought a new desktop recently that had a trial version of Trend antivirus which happened to expire just as I found this offer. It remains to be seen how effective the software is. I have never used this Trend protection before but so far no complaints. Its user-friendly and all you need for basic virus protection. Trend seems to be gaining in popularity lately. Prior to this I was using Kapersky.
