Module failed after about a year of use. Leading up to the total failure -- black screen of death and not being able to even boot to the safe mode -- played switcheroo and determined which stick of two had failed. Recovered the hard drive along the way. Total rectal discomfort for months! Awaiting the guaranteed replacement currently. Laptop is running OK on the other stick bought at same time.

Just to clarify. PC5300 and PC5400 are the same thing. Different companies round their numbers differently.

According to Apple any PC2 5300 @ 667MHz with a CAS 5 will do the trick in their MacBooks and MacBook Pros. I checked out the SAMSUNG OEM that is included in the MacBook Pro and it is the same specs. as this Ultra memory chip module. The only difference is the price :) Which I may add it is a really nice value. ( As compared to apple's $210 price tag )
SO, MacBook & MacBook Pro users this is your memory!

Great product, easy to install. IT IS PC5300 not 5400 (which is what I needed - so thank you to previus review for correctly identifying product. I installed in in a Lenovo (IBM) Thinkpat T60p to go with the 1Gig that came with it. Works great first time. NO PROBLEMS.

I have a Alienware Area 51m 7700 3.0ghz dual core Laptop.
It came standard with 1 stick of 512 400mhz. I bought 2 of these and I can play bf2 on high settings at 1024X1028 resolution. Get this ram my computer is so much faster now.
