Big Problem
There is a conflict with the installed 30 day security suite and Windows 7. Acer says they know about it, but cannot help unless you sign up for a year service contract at over $100.00

Great laptop
I am impressed with this laptop. I chatted with customer support to get the scoop on upgrading RAM, since the description on the page was a little unclear as to how much memory it could hold. I upgraded to 8GB RAM (2 x 4GB)and am really happy with the performance. The sound is good, the graphics are great, and it does everything it needs to do. I was also moderately surprised that it didn't come with too much bloatware. (It still had some, but not tons of it.) Minor point, but the trackpad is really nice, and there's even a function button to shut it off if you're going to be mashing keys for a while and you don't want to worry about hitting the trackpad.

Overall a great buy
I have to say I am thoroughly impressed with the quality of this laptop. The graphics are gorgeous and the computer has exceeded my expectations. My only disappointment is that there is no way to upgrade the RAM. All previous laptops I have had, had an access panel that was easily removed to get to the RAM. This laptop does not. You would have to remove the entire bottom half of the case to access it, which is easier said than done. Other than that, you could not go wrong with this laptop for regular home use (internet, games, etc.)

Acer Rocks !
Got mine at a Great price of $521, took out 4GB 1066Mhz. and put in 8GB 1333Mhz. Also took out 500GB 5400RPM hard drive and put in Seagate 500GB 7200RPM HYBRID hard drive the 1GB AMD Radeon HD 6650M has played every game I have flawlessly and with the memory and hard drive changes it powers on to password to loaded desktop and full load 12 items igoogle in 1 minute 10 seconds !!!!! Second Acer laptop, first one still excellant but 2 years old and some of my games would not play smoothly. And I like the bigger 17.3 inch screen. Good Windows Experience Index numbers 7.0,7.5,5.7,6.6,5.9
