recommeded to me for good reason
My good friend who is a computer guru (I am not)strongly recommended this machine to me after comparing a number of new models on the market. I also saw many good reviews. I have been totally satisfied--this laptop is by far the best one I have yet purchased (out of maybe 7). I was quite impressed also with customer service and the speed in which my computer was delivered.

Great deal for the money - good buy!
I bought this computer for college use and some mild gaming and couldn't have been more happy with this computer. I play a few games and the graphics card is just as good as the ratings for it say it is. Pros: Everything but the cons Put in 8 gigs of ram for $40 Cons: hard drive is a little slow

Great Laptop!
Purchased to replace an old HP dual core I sold. Wanted something smaller but still needed an optical drive. Have had it for a couple of weeks now and experienced zero problems. Did come with some bloatware, but was easy to remove. Ended up keeping Acer's software installed for shortcut key functionality. Battery runtime, while streaming video now, was around 7 hours which is great. Playing Diablo 3 on almost all high graphic settings, occasional frames drop but is usually due to me running something else in background. Does get quite warm on High Performance while playing but otherwise stays cool. Playing D3 on battery lasts around 2-2.5 hours. Also, I have not had any video switching problems, but I selected D3 to run with Nvidia card always. Overall very satisfied, just wish it weighed maybe a half pound less. It's a little beast though at around 5 lbs, great deal.

Great all around PC
This computer has so many great aspects to it, a lot of witch I didn't even notice until after I bought the machine. Physically, it's slim, sleek, and beautiful. The screen is vibrant and easy to look at, and the bevel doesn't take up a lot of the room. The computer doesn't heat up much, even after hardcore gaming sessions (max settings for 4 hours). The home dolby speakers sound great and really add that special touch to the laptop that most don't even consider when shopping around. Performance wise, this is a beast, able to run high to very high at max res for most games I play. However, I gave it only four stars simply because it's not balls to the walls gaming. My only disappointments were a few structural problems, such as the bowing in the cd area (very minimal, but noticeable if you press it) and the flimsy nature of the power socket. With the 120 or so off of the normal price, this is a steal, and I would recommend it to anyone.

Great Bang for the Buck
For the price, this machine is filled with lots of goodies. The nicest surprise was the quality of the speakers. For a laptop, these things actually sound pretty decent. It's super thin, very lightweight but feels solid and is extremely fast due to the Core i5 Sandy Bridge dual CPU. I'd recommend this pc to anyone.
