Excellent! Looked at several different laptops at several different places, nothing came close to the price, features, and screen size. Wireless connection is super, picks up signal without any delay. Thank you Tiger Direct, keep up the good work on the crazy low prices!!!

Like other reviews, great laptop for the money. I bought an extra 512MB RAM. It ran painfully slow with the standard 256MB after I added antivirus and office aps. I talked with ACER Corp, and they recommend that you use the same PC2700 DDR SODIMM (333Mhz) RAM like the one rated in the laptop--DO NOT USE FASTER RATED RAM with this chipset. Speakers are not that loud with DVD's, but a good pair of headphones will make a difference. All, in all, I am very pleased with it and I prefer AMD processors, as well. I am a bit puzzled however by the FAT32 partitions with XP.

Very pleased--have now used mine for about two months: machine is very dependable and wireless net connection works great. Have used it without any problems to surf the net, connect to an LCD projector for presentations, view DVDs and assorted other tasks. Only thing I would do different if I were buying it again today would be to upgrade DDR memory to 512 MB or higher (which I will do anyway ASAP.) |

Best Buy I ever made! I run a graphics business and this laptop goes everywhere with me, handles all my graphic softwear and is as depenable and quick as my desktop I paid 3 times as much for! In fact, I am so impressed with the product and its warranty that I am buying 2 more for my teens for Christmas! Of course I will buy them from Tiger Direct......where else? |

This laptop works with my every need from home to work! It has just the programs that I need to function. I just thank tiger direct for giving me such a great deal on this. |
