Excellent Computer - Great Price
I have purchased refurbished equipment in the past with great results, and this one in no exception. The high-gloss finished plastic still had its protective plastic on it. The machine is to augment a small home network and it's a good fit. The case is a standard size tower that allows upgrades, and with the six Sata II controllers on the main board I was able to put together a RAID 5 configuration with 5 2TB hard disk drives for 8TB of storage yielded. The processor is very fast and the 8gb of memory installed makes this a delightful machine.

Hyperspeed
Ok, so I upgraded from an off-lease pentium D Win XP to this Star Destroyer and it's amazing! Think about it, 8 GB RAM, Core i5 Quad Core with 3 GHz, 2 USB 3.0 slots and a bunch more USB 2.0 (which eliminated my USB HUB---awesomesauce!)built in card reader, 1TB Hard drive and a cool white light around the front. Oh, it comes with HDMI and VGA and works with two monitors out of the box - best feature IMHO. This is by far a smooth brain choice!!!

Marred by finish
This PC is a really good deal. The only criticism I have is that it is the first time I have ever received a refurbished item with a worn, scratched finish on any of the panels.

Overall product
great for gaming. fast doesn't get even near hot when in use. Cd drive does make a little racket so not sure if its going bad yet but will see. can put multiple hard drives in to set up a raid5.
