Interesting construction
I cut the cable to change one end. Although all 3 wires appear identical, they are not. Most of the thickness is insulation, making for a robust and strong cable. The video wire is regular co-ax, while the audio wires are shielded twin. Interestingly, the shield does not seem to be connected; the RCA plugs are connected only to the 2 inner cores.
