Great looking memory, performs below rated specs
I have been looking for a pair of sodimm's to upgrade my newest laptop, This Corsair memory, good brand, good history, came at a good price. But it DOES NOT perform to the level of specification given by the manufacturer and the retailer. The memory slows down my laptop by about 10% versus the memory already installed that has identical specs. Corsair labels this memory to be PC3-12800 and DDR3-1600 CL9, but it only performs like slower ram from other vendors. Good deal, but not top-of-the-line like what I wanted.
