You'll Never Go Wrong With A Spare!
Original replacement lamp for the Optoma EP716/719, DX605, TX700, and TS400 projectors. It is always
good to keep a spare lamp on-hand because you never know when you will need
it until you turn on the projector. You might be preparing your quarterly presentation
in the executive boardroom, warming up for a sales pitch for your most important
customer, or sitting down to watch a film with your family.
Suddenly the excitement of being prepared is interrupted by the realization that the lamp in your projector is just a little too old, or maybe it took too big of a bump during your travel. If you have a spare lamp, you can change it immediately. Works great
It's easy to forget how nice the projector looked with a fresh bulb in it. Replaced the lamp in my TX700 projector. 4 stars on value just because it's so expensive imho, but it otherwise works wonderfully. Super easy to put in, slides into place easily. Make sure you don't touch the lamp housing itself, use the handle on the lamp bottom instead. If you touch the reflector or the other glass parts they'll likely crack, or have other nasties happen when you first turn it on.

not going to bother with it again
One of its wires made it difficult to plug it in. Nice for about 5 seconds. Then it exploded: pop, sizzle, smoke, the whole nine yards. No more projector for me.
