Purchased it from this retailer . Worked fine for 24 Months . It started not turing on when waking up . It is apparently very common as I found out in the internet by just googling Vx922, No recall from Viewsonic regardless of the amount of compalints |

This is one of the best flat screen monitors out there. I just switched up from an old Dell 19'' CRT and the difference is night and day. I should have switched a long time ago. If you do any gaming you'll appreciate the 2 milisecond response time. This monitor is clear sharp and the fastest around. If you want to watch DVD's use a big screen TV with wide screen. I have not watched any DVD's so I can't comment on that, but I'm sure you'll want wide screen for movies. The bottom line: if you do any gaming or video editing you'll want this monitor. |

I've had this monitor for a year and a half. I bought this display model because I had done the home work and this one of the best rated gaming monitors in its class. I still have NO PROBLEMS and the colour and sharpness are incredable!Still no dead pixles. The backlight bleeds a touch on a full black screen but this is a small price to pay for an incredable monitor. Ghosting is what happens when a pixel cannot change color fast enough leaving reminence of the last picture. You buy this display and you won't need to know that kind of stuff. |

This is also the second View Sonic product that I've purchased! I bought this product 1 year ago and I have to say that I've haven't had any problems with it at all! Stand is perfect the way it is, colors are vibrant and pure and response time is amazing! Perfect for a gamer and perfect for the average user! It's for those reasons that 1 year later I took the decision to buy a second unit to dual screen my current system. Once again View Sonic has delivered a great product. |

Arrived in 2 days, no dead pixels. Turned down the brightness. Came with DVI cable. Usually for cheaper monitors that must be purchased seperate. Subtract that from the overall price and the monitor is a pretty good value. Stand is not flimsy at all. I had problem with the shaking but it was because desk is old and the stand was not flush with desk top. Repositioned and it was fine.
I was on the fence for 6 months with this monitor. (I usually do research-overkill when buying new computer parts) I am happy with the result. |

Not happy with this one. The stand is flimsy, so monitor shakes when you type on the keyboard. Colors are washed out, and icons look jagged. Adjustments are limited to bright and contrast. Videos that looked fine on my old ViewSonic CRT are dark and hard to see on this one, no matter how bright I make the monitor. Also get an occasional horizontal line that appears, disappears and then reappears. I've always had good experiences with ViewSonic, but can't in all honesty recommend this one. |

This is the 2nd Viewsonic product I have purchased, and I must say that the performance of this unit is superb. It provides a perfect image with vibrant colors and no hint of delay in gaming or video applications. No wonder this won so many awards! Thumbs up from me! Thanks, TD! |

Awesome, just awesome. First of all it came in 4 days instead f the expected 7. Secondly before I installed I found it had an amazing cord manager, there were no loose messy wires. I plugged this baby in to find no dead pixels what so ever. The screen settings a tid bit to light for my liking, but you can change it so easily. Games and videos look stunning on this screen. The refresh rate is just breath taking! 2MS is crazy! A must for a gamer, and for anyone who enjoys multimedia. Buy this screen! |

I've had mine for a little over a month...Easy installation, Simply Amazing Picture...Hands down the best 19'' gaming monitor you can buy...Out of box just a bit to bright you can cut the brightness and contrast by almost half,(which is a good thing)...I will be buying one of these for all systems I build from now on...I think it will be along time before anyone comes up with something better at this affordable price... |
