I bought this mainly to use while in college. I find that the programs are very useful and I was surprised at how well it picks up a wifi signal.I am able to access my personal email as well as my work email. The browzer takes a little getting used to if you have never used anything like this before, but I found it is functional for many web pages. The graphics are clear and the text is easy to read. What a great product.

does everything you would need it to, except i haven't got it to do streaming video. the office to go features are great and synching up is effortless. my only suggestion would be a usb port so i could plug in a mouse or keyboard. great buy for much less than other wifi pdas that dont offer much more

I've been looking for an electronic organizer to help keep things, well, organzied! I'm a supervisor in the computer support task force stationed inside of a very large retailer. I'm contstantly have to follow up with clients, attend meetings, record on-the-spot notes, or set up a contact. Doing this via pen and paper was getting VERY obtrusive and far beyond unorganized. I begged my wife, explained the benefits to her, and also reminded her of the TD Gift Card I had.
This has been a great device thus far. The ability to sync everything to my PC, transfer documents to my PDA, use it as a media player, show off pics of my daughter, and keep track of my life is far beyond what I expected. I can even access the Internet via WiFi while at work.
Two minor hiccups so far: I've not been able to connect to my home network, even after changing some of the router security features. If I keep the PDA in my pocket, it sometimes will reset itself (the reset button is on the back)

This is the first pda I have ever owned; I got it mainly to run a bible program. At first I was going to get a Tungsten E2 since I wasn't concerned about too many features.........I am so glad I got the TX; especially since I got a refurbished one for the same price as the E2! The screen is bigger and 4 times as much built in memory and internet just for the heck of it. Plus Tiger was great to deal with; thanks, john e.

This is a great PDA with 128 mb of memory which is much more than most and it's lightning fast. Living in the Tampa-Bay area of Florida the lightning capital of the world I know about lightning. Seriously though I previously owned a Palm Zire 72 and thought it was great right up until it was stolen, but this TX has it beat hands down even with no camera. The applications and high memory makes this one fantastic machine. I am glad I chose it. I would recommend this to anyone. By the way I am a nursing student and the ability to store and utilize many medical based programs are a great help in school.

This is a great PDA. I have previously owned a 624MHz HP Pocket PC. This Palm has a much more friendly user interface than Windows Mobile. Even with half the processor speed (312MHz compared to 624MHz) the TX seems much faster. The bluetooth and Wi-Fi connections are very strong. I also have previously owned a Palm Zire 72. Still the TX is Much better. This is my favorite PDA ever!!!

With the added Wi-Fi feature, this has become the new must have for me. I bought one for my wife as a gift for our anniversary. I haven't given it to her yet, but parting with it will really be 'such a sweet sorrow'. I tried it out (just to make sure it was working - yeah that's the excuse I'll use) and I almost don't want to give it up. Here in NYC there are hotspots everywhere and almost all public libraries have free wireless internet now. Using the feature was a breeze. It took literally 20 seconds to set up my first time trying it. Several features I haven't tried yet, but only because I have to wait until after I give it to her (I don't want my name and wallpaper plastered all over the thing, she'll know I've been using it for the last 2 months). It is very easy to add programs especially with the hotsync feature from previous palm handhelds. All of the old features are still available.

I got this product for Christmas because my old Palm had broke. Can't say enought about this product, built in WiFi and Bluetooth, nice processing speed, easy to use apps, and the ability to use and edit Excel, Word, and PP on the handheld. You can use files that's on the desktop or create new files on the TX. Excellent product, better than Pocket PC OS, well worth the price.

Awesome value. I love the W-Fi feature, as I have a wireless network in my home. I can check my e-mail without getting out of bed, can download programs directly to the T/X without having to hot-sync. I have also used with my bluetooth phone to dial numbers from my Palm contacts. However, it is probably easier just to look up the # on the Palm and punch the numbers into the phone. I also like the larger, rotating screen (portrait or landscape view) which makes internet and photo viewing easier most of the time. Any decent sized SD card will hold tons of music. No need to buy an expensive I-Pod. This does so much more. Pictures, music, video, internet, games...Well worth the price.
