I wanted to connect a parallel printer to the other computers in the house. I have an old HP LaserJet 4L. There is no USB or networking capability. The techies at Best Buy said I was out of luck and there was nothing to do other than upgrade my (Buy ANOTHER) printer. Well I love my laser printer and I had to give this a try. I am glad I did. Easy to set up (Also had to change to match my network and provide the WEP key) Took about 10 minutes to install on 3 computers throughout the house. Works great, highly recommended!

No problem at all. Followed the instructions: 1)configure server via network cable connection from ''2Wire'' wireless hub (had to change IP address to match my network, and set WEP Open key), 2) configured two computers by adding XP printer drivers. The HP laser jet prints in the garage, and we ''compute'' in the house. Works great, highly recommended !

Works as advertised. Took all of 5 minutes to set up. AP is on the second floor, printer is on the first floor and the signal strength is great. Would have to agree with the previous post, the others probably didn't know networking. I just changed the IP address of the print server to work with my address scheme and was printing in no time.

when I wanted to move my plotter to the other side of my office I decided to go wirless (for obvious reasons) I almost didn't buy this due to it's poor reviews but really liked it's small simple design. I told my wife ''I'll bet those people don't know networks and IP addresses'' so I took the chance and I was right, I really love this thing. It probably isn't for the faint at heart but if you know your networks, this is Definitely the way to go. it comes with a default IP address to access the ''web based setup'' trough a hard wire. set it to your network, either DHCP or manual, disconnect and reboot and you've got a printer port 20ft away. Been using it for 2 months now and thinking about welding it right to the back of my plotter. Steve D (No fancy letters just a dumb designer)
