Superb! I did extensive research into webcams (a surprisingly difficult segment to research) and came to the conclusion that this Logitech model was the best at the time I purchased it. I use it extensively and I've found it to be, in fact, superbly clear, sharp, and focused. I am very, very pleased with my choice. (By the way, it is vastly superior to any of my relatives' webcams.) |

I purchased this camera over a year ago and it has not let me down. In fact, I am using it outside and running it for up to 15 hours per day without turing it off. I am broadcasting a robins nest live on the internet. People cannot believe I am using a webcam to broadcast the live feed. This product is awesome even in low light areas. The right light technology is phenominal and so is the sound. |

Well, it looks like I'm the minority here but unfortunately I haven't had much luck with this camera. When I first installed the camera it wouldn't detect with my USB2 card so I plugged it into a USB1 port instead. The frame rate was ok but the image quality was horrible. So I purchased a new USB2 card and now it kind of works on the USB2 port. The image quality is better but the frame rate is bad (about 8-10 fps). Also it won't work at 640x480 resolution for some reason. I spent over a week emailing back and forth with tech support and although they were nice and quick respond, no progress was made. I have a 2.4ghz P4 processor with 2gb ram and an Nvidia 6800 ultra graphics card and I'm running Windows XP Pro, so there really shouldn't be any problems as my system meets or exceeds the recommended system requirements. However as I said, it doesn't work properly. |

Owned for a week. Why it is not a 5: Setup was easy; video quality is good (in video chat SW using yahoo and windows live messenger have yet to try others; will post again if I find something better); I was slightly disappointed by this as I was hoping for a larger image and better resolution(the camera is capable, as it looks vg in HD 960x720 video from the Quick Cam SW; but the messenger SW seems to limit you) ; however the Rightlight feature makes up for some of this but is not perfect either can't handle direct lighting well. However, very good PC video capturing and still quality using Quick Cam SW. Price is fair; $60 dollars after $20 rebate. Experiencing some occasional SW issues; when using the video effects (I have had to reboot a few times; because of this.) If you are upgrading from another serviceable web cam; because of the ''cool'' video effects (you can look like a shark or put facial hair on yourself...); I would wait until this SW is improved... |

It is ok I expected that the image would be much better because it is a 1.3 Mpixel camera. I am disappointed as well in the delay of the image.
The camera mount on my lap top does not work well at all the camera contiuosly falls off. I had to use double sided tape to keep the camera in place. |

This is an awesome webcam! The auto tracking and light adjustment works great. The instillation is very easy. This camera has made it wonderful for my husband while on business travel to stay in touch with the family. We love it! |

I'm surprised I didn't see this mentioned in the other reviews but there is a problem with the driver and windows xp. I've installed on two different computers and got blue screen each time. Had to disconnect camera to boot. One was a brand new dell laptop. I've had to rename files according to their ''fix'' on the website but now the microphone in the camera does not work and I have to use the headset. Also, it doesn't clamp on top of my LCD monitor or laptop. They sent me an email saying they are working on the driver problem. I was tempted to return (bought two) but they are so cool and clear I'm going to keep them and hope they fix it soon. A few bugs but the technology is great. I'd like to give it a 5 but until software ''fix'' I'd have to rate it a 4. |

This digital camera has amazing features, with it's auto-tracking, auto light and color balance, and some of the effects overlays. It was a snap to install and functioned right away. I am still waiting for my daughter to get her MSN messenger configured to try out live chat, but I have sent her some video email |

I love this camera. I have had several webcams (all Logitecs) and this is by far the best quality picture I have ever had. When my 82 year old father saw the quality of my picture he ordered one too and the improvement in the image quality I am getting from him now is hard to quantify. I also like its portability. I take it with me out of town and use it on my laptop with ease. Nothing but superlatives from me. |
