Hi there, This is Kenny again. After about 3 weeks of use the camera itself is holding it own for the price . I must also include another major pet peeve for all you future-buyers out there. Becareful as the MV-500 bleeds energy from you lithium ion battery even when its turned off. Yes, I have tested it with another brand new lith battery and regular AAA batteries and still the unit bleeds energy so when you take a pic and turn the unit off for a few hours and you try to turn it back on and it won't come on because there is no more juice. Gotta keep a spare lith battery or take out the battery everytime you are finished with a pic. Will con't to post. Still not bad for the price. I will let you guys know more regarding print quality vs. wsiwyg via the screen.

Excellent little 3 in 1 camera. Some of my pet peeves are:
1-Can only use Camcorder in well lite areas. I tried using a flash lite to no avail.
2-In order to enjoy must buy lithium battery aka nokia 8210 battery as the AAA batteries are very short lived. ($25) Must also buy 1 gig of memory ($35). Look for rebates on Tiger Direct to help you save $$$ on the memmory card.
3-Horrible sound recording and playback. Better to use the included headphones for listening.
4-Auto defaults to Camcorder mode everytime you turn on unit and must scroll to get camera and then rest the flash settings everytime the camera is turned on.
5-Bad pouch/case included. I'd rather have a belt pouch so that I can wipp it out and take a pic.
Overall, very good 3-1 all around toy for every day use. Becareful of flimsy battery latch door and flimsy plastic memmory card door.

Camera performs well. One of my favorite features is the size of it. It can fit right in your pocket. Definitely buy the rechargeable lithium ion battery and charger. Camera performed excellently, and even under low light was better than expected. The 640x480 resolution is better than most digital still cameras. Records slow to the card, for the $$$, performs well.

I love it, Thee photos are crystal cler, so is the video. you can take photos in low light because of flash. The only problem I have is how fast it eats batteries
MEGAPIXELS AND PHOTO PRINT SIZE
The
photo print quality of your images depends on the camera's "megapixel
rating." The higher number of pixels your camera has, the higher the resolution
(or sharpness) of your images---and the larger your prints can be without
quality loss.

Digital Camera Flash Storage
Capacities
* Average file size
using cameras highest resolution JPEG mode. Actual number of
photos, songs, and minutes will vary depending on camera/device model,
format resolution and compression, usable capacity, and bundled software.
Actual usable memory capacity may vary. 1MB equals 1 million bytes; 1GB
equals 1 billion bytes.
NUMBER OF IMAGES STORED ON A DIGITAL CARD The number of
pictures you can take varies depending on your camera model and complexity
of the scene being photographed. To calculate how many pictures your card
can hold, divide the capacity of your card by the average file size of your
images. For example, if you have a 256MB card, and use a camera that has an
average file size of 1.2MB, then 256 divided by 1.2 gives you approximately
213 pictures. As you change modes on your camera, the number of images will
increase if you shoot in a lower resolution mode, and decrease if you shoot
in a higher resolution mode.
