I baught three of these a while back each of them had there own problem but it wasn't any thing major. One of them would work with lcd monitor. The other would support 2 one gig chip and the other one just wouldnt pick up my hard drive. All a couple of tweak this thing was running smooth but shut's off every now and then. I would buy it again if i just build a pc for just home purposes.

1 Problem, at post the motherboard's OEM picture would not show, but only with a bunch of horizontal lines, and disable that in the bios of course. I had to move to this brand cause' my asus P4S800DX died out. The board I currently bought(this biostar) is paired with: HIS ATi Radeon X1650XT GDDR3, Intel Pentium 4 3Ghz O/C to 3.15, and of course an Intel NIC. The board's VIA nic is known to not work over night according to some forums, and I ended up pairing this with an Intel 10/100/1000 NIC. Nice setup.

Bought this board troubleshooting an ailing Emachines, ended up replacing almost everything and upgrade to Vista w/media center (power surge and had to fix). Board didn't work with new power supply and old Celeron CPU but I probably fried them. This board was a great fit with the new budget gear - new power supply, P4 3.0 Ghz CPU, 2 GB RAM (1GB Tiger's CENTON, 1 GB PNY PC3200), Tiger's Diamond S120 Radeon 9550 ($45 after rebate). I had to buy the video card because the onboard video didn't have enough memory for Vista Media Center and my Pinnacle HD Pro Stick TV Tuner. The Pinnacle stick nearly maxes out CPU when recording in Vista, but barely touches CPU when running XP. BTW, you could probably get by with only 1 GB for Vista Media Center but definitely not less so get a 1 GB stick. MOBO installed without any problems and is now happily running Vista Home Premium. Reviews were better when I bought it in Apr 07, so I am suprised to see so many people down on it now.
