Great cooler
Its not bad cooling. I got a little better cooling with the frio but this is not bad and uses less room. I did get better cooling with a thermaltake fan.

It's OK
I have this installed on my 3970X with the Asus Rampage IV Extreme. I loved how I didn't have to mount a backplate behind the CPU socket. This mount for this cooler matches up to the stock LGA 2011 CPU socket. I'm using AS5 Thermal Paste and have the CPU running at 4.0GHz. My temps are OK but could be better. I'm at the mercy of my ambient temps. Living in a 1bdrm apartment doesn't help. I replaced my Noctua SE2011 with this cooler mainly because the Noctua is just too big. I have large case and the Noctua fit, but took up too much room. It covered my RAM. This Intel cooler is slick and compact and works reasonably well.

Awesome cooling, not 'noob' friendly.
I feel I should drop the rating down a notch in either Features or Quality, but I just can't do it. The cooling of this is incredible and I love how little space it actually takes up in the case. Paired with an Asus P9X79 Deluxe and a CoolerMaster case, it fits perfectly and looks gnarly. First time builders will be frustrated with install manual, probably easier to figure out on your own then use as reference.

Easy to install, works well for 6 core server
I'm using this with a core i7, 6-core server. It stays cool, and runs quiet.

Love this item
It works great, my CPU temp is down 10 degrees at average CPU load from my previous cooler(heatsink and fan)temps..
