Customer Reviews
Not a bad buy for the money, but keep in mind that this is not actually a GeForce product, and as such they refused to support warranty stuff for mine when I had issues :( It's definitely slower than a higher-end 512MB card, but does the job adequately. I had a lot of issues getting it to correctly work with the drivers provided. All in all I'm relatively happy with it now but be prepared for a hassle.
Jaw dropping quality and performance. Low price but amazing quality and includes DVI and HDTV/S-Video ports along with VGA. Fan does prevent me from using one of the PCI slots on my motherboard but that's a mobo design issue.
I orderd one for work and I have had such good luck with it I am going to buy one for home. I like that I can run two monitors of one cheap card with great results.
Got this to get around the Xrandr bug on FreeBSD 6.3.
(It thought the integrated ATI chip-set was the second display locked at 640x400.)
Installed the card, pkg_add the xf86-video-nv driver and rebooted.
It's just that simple and you can't beat the price!
Its a Forsa, if you look at the pictures, thats what you get a Forsa Geforce 6600 with 512MB RAM. I am quite happy with it. I use it with an Athlon 5000+ and in linux glxgears I get an average of 3350fps. In windows its great too, I can play any game I've tried at super high graphics. Its a great card, for cheap.
