Best Deal ever
It's the last best invention I have bought
I had absolutely no trouble with installation at all! Everything works wonderfully! The security features and range are worth the money alone. If you have any trouble with installation, install the drivers from the disk, and then let windows do it's thing, and restart. Windows may screw with the installation disc drivers and if so, simply reinstall the software after you restart. After that everything will work flawlessly. It isn't complicated and well worth the extra 2 minutes. Maybe the reviewers before didn't think of that, but I've had no problems at all.
I've owned 3 different bluetooth adapters, and this was the worst! I have always trusted Linksys in the past for quality, but I will be more careful in the future! First this is only a 1.1 rating NOT a 2. Thats important. Second their software is 4 or 5 years old!!! And will not work with vista! And I had to uninstall a higher quality software just to get this to run.
Ignore the rant by reviewer with the script error. His/her error is caused by IE security not the Bluetooth installation had he/she bothered to search for a solution.
Great range, nice product. Not for use with Vista however. Linksys shows no support coming for it. Bought withe Motorola HT820 headphones on Vista PC, problem seems to be with driver support on the Linksys. This is actually a broadcom chipset. But you can't use the latest broadcom drivers..they detect license and deactivate! (even then they only gave me mono)
