Allthough it says Gaming Series this is not for a gamer. This UPS will only give me a 10 minute run time at 20 Percent load. Called Opti and they said Quote No UPS lasts for 30 minutes End Quote. So the 30 minute run time is a lie, unless you have a PC that uses only 100 watts or less. |

Good UPS. The battery lasts for a good while for the price. I use one of these just for my networking equipment (dsl, router, voip). It will keep it on all day. I sell them to customers who buy custom built PCs from me. They work well and protect my PCs. I get no complaints and no power related warranty issues. The software utility is a must. It is small and does the job of turning off your PC when the battery gets low. You can even adjust voltage tolerances if you wish. I have been very happy.

Great little UPS for light use. I bought two of these - one for my PC, one for the house server (glorified PC, nothing fancy). They do exactly what you want and the software gives me more logging and notification options than I really needed. Prior to these, I used a couple of APC SmartUPS's - a 1400 and a 3000-RM, so I'm used to higher end equipment. I don't miss those a bit. These weigh a fraction of what those monsters do! |

This is a good low end battery backup. I could stand some more time to shut down but for the price I wasn’t expecting much. I am running my system and two lcd displays off the back up outlets and the other three surge protected sockets protect the rest of my peripherals. |

I have had this UPS for around 2 weeks now, and has been working flawessly since. Hooked it up with no problems, and has been working steadly since. |

Easy to use plug and play. Software not used since main purpose is for a Tivo and cable box.
I think it is a really nice product for the money. I'm not using it all the time for a pc but for keeping my tivo and cable box from turning off it works fine.
