Excellent product. Bought it about 3 months back. Very easy to upload/ download files and songs - shows up like a hard drive (which it is) when connected. Does not need any special software. Only drawback - some songs give a file error. Other than that, for the price, it is a great product. This has bare minimum features: in any case, on most equipment, one uses 20% of features 80% of the time.

Great piece of equipment. I use mine to listen to Podcasts that I subscribe to, mainly Christian sermons. It fits my purposes. It is easy to use, just copy and paste onto the desired folder. Just treat it like a hard drive (which it is). Has only frozen once (today as a matter of fact when I was downloading some Podcasts) but other then that no problems. Company seems pretty obscure but the apparatus works and it is an excellent price for the size of the hard drive. Earbuds suck but hey, what ya' gonna do!

Great price, lots of storage and relatively easy to use. Hardest part is labeling the files to stay in the order I want. Mp3 automatically alpha the song list. Transfer a CD or Cassette (in my case) and the songs do not stay in their original order? I have trouble connecting to the computer with supplied cable. (10% success ratio). I purchased another cable (50% success ratio) so I conclude that the connection on the MP3 in bad. Tha cable has to be placed just right to connect & download. The unit has frozen 3 or 4 times in 2 months (be sure to carry a paper clip) but no files were lost. Great sound, average battery life compared to what is advertised. I wanted a unit to hold all my old cassette tapes and Cd's, this is working well and easy to organize once you learn how. Contrary to other review, you can shuffle through all music from any filing level.

My first MP3 player. Easy to use with plenty of room. Also allows me to back up other files from my computer. Will need better earbuds and more substantial case. Can use one for iPod, but covers some of the buttons. Only drawback is occasionally hitting the wrong button and reverse or fast forward instead of changing volume. Would give 4 1/2 if possible

Great deal for your money -- good sound quality, stays charged for long periods of time, and easy to add files and organize. However, the player does freeze on occasion, and the headphones broke after about a month. One thing to note, this player only allows you to play songs (in order or shuffle) from one subfolder at a time. So, unless you have all your mp3s in a single folder with no subfolders, you cannot shuffle through your entire music library. You can however create playlists of up to 100 songs.
