It does what it's supposed to
I use this switch because I have more devices than ports in my receiver. I have an Xbox and Apple TV plugged into it and it works flawlessly. Now if I can just get it to work with my Harmony remote, I'll be set!

Problem solved!
I used this to patch both my DVD player & Apple TV (1st gen) into a large picture tube TV that only has one input for RGB.

Solves a common problem!
I use this to connect my HDTV cable set-top box, a Wii system and a Playstation all to the home theatre system - which then goes to the large screen HDTV. Now we have gaming in Dolby digital surround sound! Easy to set up and use and solves the multi component problem with a simple unit and frees up some additional connections on the tv! You can't beat this price!
