This FX5500 is a great graphics card that is a solid, reliable performer. I currently use this on my Gateway GT5670 Desktop PC for dual-monitor purposes and the card makes little to no noise and has a decent speed. I would recommend this product to someone looking to expand their desktop or workstation with a decently inexpensive graphics card.

I had a hard time installing it on my Dell Dimension 2400 which is just over 4 years old but was able to get it working. I bought this card to replace my integrated video card. I had to remove my old pci dial up modem card to install the video card because the pci slot had a better fit than the two other pci slots. Anyway, i was back and forth with Dell and NVIDIA tech support. Thank God for Dell, they have an amazing lifetime tech support. I noticed right away a difference in my game ''Command & Conquer Generals'', much faster and smooth, not choppy at all. For the price, you can't beat it. Plan on buying ''Command & Conquer 3''. I hope it works with my new card, wish me luck...

Have a Dell with only a PCI slot? My 3000 series fell into this category, and this was a quick plug and play solution. It's obviously not an advanced card, but if you don't have the slot to fit an AGP or PCIe...this is a good card. Now I can enjoy my hot coffee in full resolution. Grove Street 4 Life, Carl Johnson.

Excellent card for the price. I bought from another store for $72. It's well worth the price. I'll be upgrading to a much better card soon but overall this is a decent card for the value.

this card is awsome if your stuck with pci slots! this is probly the best pci video card out on the market now or maybe of all time) my only two complaints were it took a little while to figure out that i had to disable the intergrated grafics and that it messed up my resolutin for a while but in about 45 minitues it got working. Price? amazing! i got this actaly at a diffrent store and it was abot $80 and it was a steal! almost all games made in 2005 or lower (battlefeild 2 empire at war ect.) work very well. get this if stuck on PCI

I just got this card and yes i will have prodlems with it on a system running 2000. A tip for people, if your card dont work do a checklist 1 make sure your power suply can handle it. 2 make sure your motherboards BIOS is completly up to date and 3 download the latest drivers for the card...dont just pop it in and expect results if you dont know what your doing, computers are all different and what will work on one may not on an outher without a few bugs, over all the card runs well now! after a little updates and does what it says it can.

very good product...lives up to what is said of it. It was recommended to me by a computer pro. People who rate this bad probably don't even know how to turn on a computer. Disabling your Intel Extreme onboard graphics is as easy as right clicking and selecting properties and then choosing which graphic card you want to use as primary...obviously nvidia :P

I just bought this card from the outlet store and I have to say its crap. Its not much better than the on board graphics card I already have. Also, it didn't install properly gave a black screen at windows log in. I use it to play WOW and already my cursor keeps frezing in place while the mouse is still moving around. DON''T BUY THIS ITEM
