Hawking Outdoor Hi-Gain 9dBi Omni-Directional Antenna Kit
Connect Anywhere, Anytime HAO9SIP is one of Hawking's Hi-Gain 24 series, 2.4 GHz Wireless Antenna Line. Hawking offers a complete solution for all your wireless signal boosting needs. The Outdoor Antenna Kits provide wireless users with a high powered solution to extend their wireless network, whether extending the wireless network from one corporate building to another, or simply from the front house to the back house. The Outdoor Omni-Directional Antenna emits a powerful amplified signal over a 360 degree radius, delivering a strong multi- direction signal from an Access Point or a Bridge. If you have multiple locations or buildings where you would like to integrate your wireless network, simply place the HAO9SIP in between the buildings with your Acess Point. It is most effective when placed at the top of buildings or in the center of large rooms. The HAO9SIP also comes with a mounting kit, connectors, and a surge protector.
Note: HAO8SI Antenna kit does not include outdoor cables, which is necessary for long distance outdoor applications.

good antenna
I have bought 3 of these for different applications and all work very well. I suspect some of the bad reviews are because someone is trying to use it with a router which is not compatable. I had that problem once myself with a particular router.

Good deal
I'm in Afghanistan and about 25 of use a dish internet system. The internet cold never connect or just super slow. I bought the Antenna and put it up outside my tent and Soldiers three tents away are surfing the net.

I could not use my laptop at all before and the now I can use it and roam around the house. Well constructed and easy to install.

A total farce. This gave zero range increase over the stock antenna. Tested with Netstumber. If you combine it with a $300 signal booster as did the other reviewer, you may see an increase in performance. But then again you would see that anyway. If you are looking to increase your range without a booster tho, don't fall for this one.
