The Hawking Technologies' Wireless Signal Booster is a high performance, range extending wireless solution for your home or business network. The award winning Hawking WiFi Signal Booster increases the output power of a wireless signal by up to 600%. A standard wireless device has a peak output power of around 70mW. The Hi-Gain Signal Booster is capable of pumping out 500mW of wireless distance extending power. The Hawking Hi-Gain WiFi Signal Booster attaches to the antenna connector of certified wireless devices.
Plug and play installation makes the Signal Booster easy to setup. Simply unscrew the original wireless antenna on the approved device and screw on the connector cable of the Signal Booster.
Not only does the WiFi Signal Booster increase wireless distance, it also boosts the performance of wireless networks. By extending the overall distance of a network, the HSB2 increases the overall speed of data transmissions throughout the network.
Utilizing signal filters, the HSB2 minimizes any wireless interference within the network. The advanced signal filters clean the wireless signals emitted by the wireless device to ensure a interference free environment.

Not compatible with Bell Turbo Hub
I was unable to use this item with the Bell Turbo Hub. The hub & booster have different connection types which are not compatible. Great service from Hawking Help Desk and great service & ease in returning product through this site.

Not suited for my needs
Sorry I had to return this item, which seemed excellent however it was not the correct item that was required for my setup. Excellent service on purchase and return.

Excellent Unit
I recently purchased this at the beginning of October 2010. Attached to my FIOS M125 router as an extender it works great by extending the signal from corner room where the home office is across the house. It has a high pitched 6,000 dba sound so it should be mounted up high above ear level. I keep it on the second 200 MW setting and that is sufficient to cover a 2500 SF home. So, so far so good.

Didn't work
I installed it about 90 feet from my router. It made absolutely no difference in signal strength.
