today's PC have the capability already installed, and Windows (since 2000)
natively supports dual monitors. Configuring dual monitors is so easy: just use

Express 2.0 - High End Graphics Have Arrived
PCI Express Base 2.0 specification doubles the interconnect bit rate from
2.5 GT/s to 5 GT/s in a seamless and compatible manner. The performance
boost to 5 GT/s is by far the most important feature of the PCI Express
2.0 specifications. It effectively increases the aggregate bandwidth of
a 16-lane link to approximately 16 GB/s. The higher bandwidth will allow
product designers to implement narrower interconnect links to achieve
high performance while reducing cost.

Excellent value video card for HTPC
i just built several HTPC using i7-3770s and this video card was my top choice for low-power low-heat low-profile. Some gaming, but mostly 1080p videos. Great card at $39.

not bad for the money
runs fine for my needs. needed just a dual monitor card so this did the job. WIN7 speed is rather slow but was ok by me. Drivers are a little flaky and make a hoz bar show up on the monitor some. Win7 didn't need drivers and works better without disk supplied. Runs well on my 60 plasma via hdmi too.

No good.
I bought this for the hdmi hookups which my old card did not have. Since I have installed it my monitor frequently goes black for a few seconds. Its very irritating and happens at random times. I see no difference from my old 1gig DDR2 video card.
